New Members Inducted 18 September

Our club donated $1000 to the HOSA organization for future healthcare professionals at the Smithson Valley High School.  Members from that HOSA organization volunteered to help us during our fundraising at Wurstfest 2024.

At our 19 February 2025 club meeting Monarch Chevron awards were presented to club members who have or will have achieved milestones in their long term service in Lions this year (1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025).   Membership milestones are recognized at 10 years and at subsequent 5 year increments. Club member Daniel J. (DJ) Martinez sponsored the daughter of his good friends to attend the Texas Lions Camp.  She attended the June 23 – 29 session for children with Down Syndrome.  At the June 28 Awards Night, DJ joined with the family to celebrate.

Our club is a sponsor of the New Braunfels Youth Lacrosse organization.   Two of our newer members, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan, are involved in supporting the NBYL activities with their 2 sons, Cade and Decker, on the team.  The Kinnan family gave a presentation about the youth lacrosse organization at our 5 March club meeting…
