The Pups and Pints event for 2026 was held 21 March again at the Guadalupe Brewing Taproom & Pizza Kitchen. This was the second year our club supported this event. Our club ran the silent auction and had a booth to promote Lionism and our club as well as did fund-raising for the Leader Dogs program.
The silent auction raised $1750 to benefit the K9 unit of the Comal County Sheriff’s Department. Separately our club raised $293 for the Leader Dog program.
Our club donated $750 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities San Antonio this holiday season to support their mission of providing a safe and caring home away from home for the families of children receiving essential medical services in San Antonio, Texas. At the next Rock Haus dance party on February 12, we will be helping with setup of tables and decorations, during the party serving pizza to those attending the party, and then after helping with cleanup and rearranging of tables and chairs. 10 volunteers are needed.
