The class was held at the Westside Branch of the New Braunfels Public Library on 6 April. The project for the class was to craft a mask. Club members and family members participated in conducting the class for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Prizes were awarded with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons for both gals and guys and with ribbons for Fantastic created masks to all others.
Three new members were installed during our 2 April 2025 club meeting. District Governor Jeff Kunkel conducted the installation ceremony. Welcome new members Tina Byram, Jim Even, and Roslyn Even.
At the next Rock Haus dance party on February 12, we will be helping with setup of tables and decorations, during the party serving pizza to those attending the party, and then after helping with cleanup and rearranging of tables and chairs. 10 volunteers are needed. Scouts and leaders from local Troop 119 again helped our club with our annual fund raiser at Wurstfest by participating in the operation of the Opa and Oma parking lot. Our club donated funds raised from the parking lot operation to the troop. Presentation of the donation was made at our 3 January club meeting.
Our club donated $750 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities San Antonio this holiday season to support their mission of providing a safe and caring home away from home for the families of children receiving essential medical services in San Antonio, Texas. Our club participated in the event at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on 12 December 2025, placing 78 wreaths on graves in section L.
