At our 7 January club meeting, members brought donations of healthy, non-perishable food items to start the new year with purpose, compassion, and service. As a result, the total of our donation of boxed and canned food items amounted to 500 pounds.

At our 3 January club meeting, our guest speaker was Jacob Huereca, CEO of the non-profit organization Connections. Connections started in 1981 as an organization to support at-risk youth in Comal County and has expanded to serve 17 counties with counseling, prevention programming, an emergency children’s shelter and a youth transitional living program. On Thursday evening 16 April, our club helped with making this dance party for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a festive occasion. Lion Paul Drush was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship at our Installation and Awards Banquet in June 2025 for his years of service and dedication to Lions serving the community to meet humanitarian needs. The award plaque was presented to Paul during our 19 November club meeting.
The New Braunfels Senior Expo was held 29 April at the New Braunfels Civic Center. Our club participated with a booth to promote lionism and our club and to hand out Yellow Dot kits.
