District Governor Visit

Our District Governor Diane Schaule was our guest at the 2 September club meeting.

Governor Schaule talked about her goals for our District 2-S3.  These centered around strengthening and growing club membership and the LCI 1.5 Mission.  Here’s a copy of her statements on the District website.

“As we step into the 2026–2027 year, my main focus is all about strengthening our Lions family so we can do even more amazing things for our communities.

To make that happen, we’re focusing on three simple goals:

1. 1. 1. Inviting new faces to join our mission,

      2. Chartering new clubs in areas that need our help, and

      3. Most importantly—Making sure our current members feel supported, valued, and excited to
         serve.

Every single Lion makes a difference, and by growing together and looking out for one another,
we’re going to make this an unforgettable year of service.

How to Meet the Goals:

• • Growing Our Circle: Welcoming new members to bring fresh ideas and extra hands to our
    current clubs.

  • Expanding Our Reach: Starting new clubs so we can bring the service of Lionism to even more
    communities.

  • Keeping our Members Engaged: Focusing on our current members, ensuring everyone has a
    great experience, feels appreciated, and stays connected to why they joined in the first place.”
