Lion Paul Drush was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship at our Installation and Awards Banquet in June 2025 for his years of service and dedication to Lions serving the community to meet humanitarian needs. The award plaque was presented to Paul during our 19 November club meeting.

At its February meeting, our club board approved a donation of $500 to the McLane Community Arts Program (CAP). Another monthly class was held May 4th at the Westside Branch of the New Braunfels Public Library. 31 adults registered for the class. The project was to create a mosiac coaster. The dedicated group of volunteers helping with the May class included 9 new volunteers from the First United Methodist Church.
The Special Olympics Texas Area Cycling Competition was held at the Tree of Life Church property on Saturday, April 18th. 4 club members volunteered to help with the race activities of timing and course monitoring.
