On Sunday afternoon 16 April 2023 the annual Kindermasken Parade was held during Folkfest on the grounds of the New Braunfels Heritage Society. Our club supported the Kindermasken Parade activity by providing a bag of treats to each participant in the parade.
We started the project at CCCC on Wednesday June 6th by moving dog kennels and then a deck to the desired location. Once in location stain was applied to the deck in preparation for gazebo assembly and installation on Saturday June 9th.
At our 4 November club meeting, Sondra Ajasin, Chief Executive Officer of TruLight127 Ministries, a non-profit, charitable organization, was our guest speaker. TruLight127 provides and facilitates foster care of children from abusive family environments. They cover an area including Kerrville, Hondo, San Marcos, Seguin as well as Comal County. Currently they have 174 foster children. …
