- Club Member Achieves 50 year Membership Award- Lion Bob Peterson achieved a milestone of 50 years of Lions Club membership this year (2023-2024 Lions year). 
  - Student Scholarships for Summer Debate Camp- Financial assistance scholarships were awarded to six students in the Smithson Valley High School Debate Club, for them to attend a summer camp and further their knowledge and skills of debating. 
  - Gazebo Project at New Life Childrens Center- On Saturday July 20th, our club assembled and installed a gazebo at the New Life Childrens Center near Canyon Lake. This is our third such gazebo project for our community this summer.
