During our 2 March 2016 meeting, our club presented our donations to the American Legion Post 179, to the New Braunfels Little League, and to We’re All In.
As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff. On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration. Lion Paul Drush, our club President, sponsored a boy and his family to attend the camp family session in June this summer. They were guests at our 4 September club meeting and told us about their wonderful experience at Lions Camp and their desire to attend again next summer.
The New Braunfels Evening Lions celebrated Valentine’s Day with a spouse night of fun, food and games, at the New Braunfels Landa Haus. Displayed were old wedding photos of members and their spouses.
