As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff.  On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration.  As part of the ceremonies a $1000 scholarship was awarded and presented by our club to each of 5 camp counselors.
Several members participated in the Men Who Cook event, held 12 October at the Witte Museum, that helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio.  They got 2nd place for People’s Choice and raised $3928. Â
At our 4 January 2023 club meeting, celebrated with the Smith family our donation to Dog Training Elite New Braunfels. Several members met at the grounds of the Heritage Society of New Braunfels on Saturday morning, 24 October 2020, to assemble and construct a gazebo.  Approximately 26 Lions hours were spent completing this service project.
