New Braunfels EVENING Lions Club Update

Flood Relief Donations           Collections begin July 10th at Crisis Center

                               Volunteer for shifts

Due to the overwhelming generosity of donors, officials in Kerrville have asked that all immediate donations of supplies be temporarily halted as they are currently inundated.

However, in anticipation of future needs in Kerrville and other flood-affected areas, we will begin collecting donations on July 10th through July 17 at 9 am – 4 pm. We will then deliver these supplies to areas where they are most needed and will send additional supplies to Kerrville when requested.

The Crisis Center of Comal County has graciously offered their facility as a dropped off location for your relief donations. Their address is 655 Landa St. in New Braunfels.

The Lions will be responsible for collecting these donations from the Crisis Center and delivering them to where resources are needed as quickly as possible.

At this time we are requesting the following:

Batteries Flashlights
Fans Thick Gloves
Toiletries Dish Soap
Cloth Towels Disinfectants

The Communities of Kerrville and the surrounding area are incredibly grateful for your rapid and overwhelming generosity. They anticipate needing supplies replenished within one to two weeks, specifically requesting cleaning supplies and disinfectants. We will update this list as it is published.

Additionally, they will be seeking volunteers to assist with the physical portion of the clean up.

If you have additional questions or would like to donate monetarily, please call Lion Barry at (707)580-0336.

Thank you for your continued support!
