Donation to PAWS 4 Hearts
At our 16 March club meeting, representatives of the PAWS 4 Hearts organization talked about the goals of their charitable organization and serving the New Braunfels and surrounding area by providing therapy dogs for physical and emotional support. Collection of Eyeglasses for Recycle/Reuse
Lion Bob Miller, chair of our Eyeglasses committee, has reported For April 2025 that 6 boxes containing 500 to 1000 eyeglasses have been collected and sent to the Midland facility. Bluebonnet Girls State 2026
Our club is again sponsoring 3 girls to attend the Bluebonnet Girls State program. Our donation for sponsorhip was presented to the local American Legion Auxiliary on 15 December at the Post 179. The Girls State program will take place at Texas Lutheran University.
Donation to Ronald McDonald House
At our 17 August meeting, our club donated $200 to the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio.
