December Meeting and Donations
We met at the Landa Haus for our only meeting in December to celebrate the season and make donations to three local charitable organizations.

The club is sponsoring a team for the 2023 season of the New Braunfels Little League.
In February, while Lions were dining at their new meeting place, The Gruene Door, Lion Wib Amacher was surprised with a singing quartet of lovely ladies, and a delicious birthday cake – all in honor of his 96th birthday. Wib is a wonderful, energetic role model of a Lion and a true gentleman.
Our club is a sponsor of the New Braunfels Youth Lacrosse organization. Two of our newer members, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan, are involved in supporting the NBYL activities with their 2 sons, Cade and Decker, on the team. Work Day, 1 April 2017, in Kerrville at the Texas Lions Camp Our club removed a worn set of hinged doors and installed a metal roll-up exterior door on a storage building at the amphitheater. President Larry Kunkel presented a check for $500 to Boy Scout Troop 119. Accepting for the Troop were Lynn Ogden and Rebecka Lynch. The money will be used to replace some cooking gear that the troop furnishes each patrol when they go camping, and also to purchase backpacks. During his visit to our club on October 2nd, District Governor Larkin Smith inducted new members Bob Oldham and Bob Fly.
