New Members Inducted 18 September
At our 18 September 2024 club meeting, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan were inducted as new Lions Club members.
U.S. and Texas State Flags Donated
Our club has donated a U.S. flag and a Texas state flag to the Comal County Fair Association. These flags are displayed in the building where youth meet to show their livestock at the Comal County Fair grounds.
Member Sponsors Camper and Family for Lions Camp
Lion Paul Drush, our club President, sponsored a boy and his family to attend the camp family session in June this summer. They were guests at our 4 September club meeting and told us about their wonderful experience at Lions Camp and their desire to attend again next summer.
Donation to the HOSA Organization at Smithson Valley High School
Our club donated $1000 to the HOSA organization for future healthcare professionals at the Smithson Valley High School. Members from that HOSA organization volunteered to help us during our fundraising at Wurstfest 2024.
