At our club meeting on 16 August 2023, Kimberly Smith was inducted as the newest member of our club. Kimberly, a special ed teacher at Freiheit Elementary school, is sponsored by Lion Paul Drush.
Our club is again sponsoring local high school girls to attend the Bluebonnet Girls State program. Two girls who have just completed their junior year at St. John Paul II Catholic High School have been selected for our sponsorship. Our club donated $1000 to the HOSA organization for future healthcare professionals at the Smithson Valley High School. Members from that HOSA organization volunteered to help us during our fundraising at Wurstfest 2024.
On Saturday morning, 6 May, club members and family volunteers met for a service project at the Headwaters at the Comal River facilities.
