The wildfires in Lions District 2-T1 have caused a disaster in Canadian, Texas and other communities close by. Many homes and other properties have been destroyed by the fires and lives have been lost.
At our club meeting on 6 March 2024, we approved a donation of $2000 to the Panhandle of Texas Lions Foundation to help with the disaster relief.
At the next Rock Haus dance party on February 12, we will be helping with setup of tables and decorations, during the party serving pizza to those attending the party, and then after helping with cleanup and rearranging of tables and chairs. 10 volunteers are needed.
