Donation to Warriors on the Way
At our 19 August club meeting, Fr. Steve Rindahl of Warriors on the Way organization (a 501c3) was our guest speaker. He gave an inspiring presentation about the healing pilgrimage they take annually to help veterans with PTSD or moral injury from their combat experience. Warriors on the Way is a purpose-designed pilgrimage for combat veterans by combat veterans. The pilgrimage is a 180-mile walk in Spain on the historic Camino de Santiago for 2 weeks.
After Fr. Rindahl’s presentation President Terri Kunkel presented a check for $750 as our donation to Warriors of the Way.
