Several members participated in the Men Who Cook event, held 12 October at the Witte Museum, that helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio.Ā Ā They got 2nd place for People’s Choice and raised $3928.Ā Ā
During our annual Awards and Installation Banquet in June, Melvin Jones Fellowship awards to Lion Joe Vasquez and Lion Glenn Herman were announced.Ā Once the official award packages arrived, these were presented at club meetings to Joe and Glenn.

A donation was made to support the services provided by the Crisis Center during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.Ā An additional donation of $150 to the Crisis Center was made in December.
