Three of the four new members joining August 19th were recruited by Lion Carl Feltner. For meeting the re-Member goal, District Governor Mike Smith awarded Lion Feltner the District Governor’s Challenge Coin.
At our October 16th meeting Laci Bird, a Behavioral Specialist at St. Judes Ranch for Children Texas, talked about the non profit organization and care they provide for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect.
Club member Daniel J. (DJ) Martinez sponsored the daughter of his good friends to attend the Texas Lions Camp. She attended the June 23 – 29 session for children with Down Syndrome. At the June 28 Awards Night, DJ joined with the family to celebrate.
