Club member Daniel J. (DJ) Martinez sponsored the daughter of his good friends to attend the Texas Lions Camp. She attended the June 23 – 29 session for children with Down Syndrome. At the June 28 Awards Night, DJ joined with the family to celebrate.
On Sunday morning, August 20th, several club members volunteered to help with a cleanup and organization the day after a sales event at Habitat for Humanity’s local ReStore. As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff.
