At our June 7th club meeting, chaplains Chris Siegle and John Howanstine discussed their role in the New Braunfels Police Department. Our club has donated a protective vest for the chaplains’ use during their interactive support in law enforcement events with the New Braunfels Police Department.
We donated to the local BSA Troop 119 in appreciation for their help with our major fund raiser during 2018 Wurstfest.
Our club is a sponsor of the New Braunfels Youth Lacrosse organization. Two of our newer members, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan, are involved in supporting the NBYL activities with their 2 sons, Cade and Decker, on the team. On Saturday July 20th, our club assembled and installed a gazebo at the New Life Childrens Center near Canyon Lake. This is our third such gazebo project for our community this summer.
