As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff. On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration. As part of the ceremonies a $1000 scholarship was awarded and presented by our club to each of 5 camp counselors.
The project of Boy Scout William Wilson as part of earning his Eagle Scout rank is to build a wheelchair ramp for a building at the Heritage Village (Heritage Society of New Braunfels).
