As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff.  On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration.  As part of the ceremonies a $1000 scholarship was awarded and presented by our club to each of 5 camp counselors.
Several members participated in the Men Who Cook event, held 12 October at the Witte Museum, that helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio.  They got 2nd place for People’s Choice and raised $3928. Â
At our 4 January 2023 club meeting, celebrated with the Smith family our donation to Dog Training Elite New Braunfels. On Saturday July 20th, our club assembled and installed a gazebo at the New Life Childrens Center near Canyon Lake. Â This is our third such gazebo project for our community this summer.
At our 18 September 2024 club meeting, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan were inducted as new Lions Club members.
