As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff. On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration. As part of the ceremonies a $1000 scholarship was awarded and presented by our club to each of 5 camp counselors.
On Sunday afternoon 16 April 2023 the annual Kindermasken Parade was held during Folkfest on the grounds of the New Braunfels Heritage Society. Our club supported the Kindermasken Parade activity by providing a bag of treats to each participant in the parade.
The New Braunfels Evening Lions celebrated Valentine’s Day with a spouse night of fun, food and games, at the New Braunfels Landa Haus. Displayed were old wedding photos of members and their spouses.
