On Sunday morning, August 20th, several club members volunteered to help with a cleanup and organization the day after a sales event at Habitat for Humanity’s local ReStore. Our club also made a donation of $400 for studs toward Habitat’s local housing projects.

President Larry Kunkel presented a check for $500 to Boy Scout Troop 119. Accepting for the Troop were Lynn Ogden and Rebecka Lynch. The money will be used to replace some cooking gear that the troop furnishes each patrol when they go camping, and also to purchase backpacks. We started the project at CCCC on Wednesday June 6th by moving dog kennels and then a deck to the desired location. Once in location stain was applied to the deck in preparation for gazebo assembly and installation on Saturday June 9th.
