On Sunday morning, August 20th, several club members volunteered to help with a cleanup and organization the day after a sales event at Habitat for Humanity’s local ReStore. Our club also made a donation of $400 for studs toward Habitat’s local housing projects.

At our October 16th meeting Laci Bird, a Behavioral Specialist at St. Judes Ranch for Children Texas, talked about the non profit organization and care they provide for children and families who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect.
Our club met on the 13th of December to share the fellowship of the Holidays and give to some charitable organizations who serve our community. 2017 is the 50th year for the New Braunfels Evening Lions Club, chartered on June 26, 1967 as the 900th club in Texas. This milestone was celebrated May 10th with International Director Sam Lindsey as our special guest speaker.
