Lion Paul Drush, our club President, sponsored a boy and his family to attend the camp family session in June this summer. They were guests at our 4 September club meeting and told us about their wonderful experience at Lions Camp and their desire to attend again next summer.
On Saturday June 1st club members met at RecoveryWerks! in New Braunfels to construct a gazebo for use by the clients and staff of the non-profit organization. At our 18 September 2024 club meeting, Cortney and Amanda Kinnan were inducted as new Lions Club members.
Several members participated in the Men Who Cook event, held 12 October at the Witte Museum, that helped raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of San Antonio. They got 2nd place for People’s Choice and raised $3928.
