9 members (Glenn, Clint, David P., Joe, Kristi, Ernesto, Bob O., Jack, Skip) participated in the camp workday on Saturday April 10 this year. Our project was to remove the old wood and install new wood on about 18 picnic tables. We completed the removal of old wood from all tables and installed new wood on several of the picnic table frames. The camp sent us the following thank you letter for our support.
As it has become a tradition, our club provides a scholarship to Lions Camp counselors selected by the camp staff. On July 12th, members of our club traveled to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville to attend the Awards Night and participate in the celebration. A donation was made to support the services provided by the Crisis Center during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. An additional donation of $150 to the Crisis Center was made in December.
