The fundraiser was held Saturday October 18 at the Sip n Putt in New Braunfels. Good attendance and many donations made this a very successful event.
The club co-hosted this event with the Kunkel family. Club members worked at our booth to register those attending and to sell raffle tickets, as well as promote our club and the Texas Lions Camp.
The total funds raised exceeded the original goal and a revised goal, for a total of $12204.
We will be supporting this event on March 21st for the second year. Our club will run the silent auction and also be fund-raising for the Leader Dogs program. At the next Rock Haus dance party on February 12, we will be helping with setup of tables and decorations, during the party serving pizza to those attending the party, and then after helping with cleanup and rearranging of tables and chairs. 10 volunteers are needed.
