Wreaths Across America Service Project

Our club participated in the event at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on 12 December 2025, placing 78 wreaths on graves in section L.  We had 7 volunteers and 2 pickup trucks to accomplish our service project.

Clean-up to remove wreaths after the Holidays occurred 3 January 2026.  5 club members participated, using 2 pickup trucks to load and drive to the disposal area at the back of the cemetery.  The task was completed in about 1 hour.

The mission of Wreaths Across America is

“Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Our volunteers are the beating heart of the program and work year-round to share this important mission and inspire others to join.”
